KAMPALA – Newly sworn-in Soi County MP Isaac Malinga Maikut has pledged to work with his constituents to address cattle rustling, insecurity, water scarcity, and poor health and education services in Bukwo District.

Speaking shortly after taking his oath, Maikut thanked the people of Soi for giving him the mandate and said he would make it a routine to remind relevant authorities of the constituency’s needs.

He says he will work with the community to ensure issues affecting them like cattle rustling by Karimojong, insecurity, water scarcity, poor education and health services, unemployment and poverty are addressed.

Maikut said he would follow up on job allocations in the district to fight corruption and ensure positions are given on merit, not money. He urged residents to unite so he can implement the manifesto he promised during campaigns.
