Two Town councils and two sub counties in Bukwo district have new leadership after LC III chairpersons and their speakers were sworn in today during a ceremony at Bukwo TC and Riwo TC respectively.

The chairpersons for Bukwo town council, Riwo town council, Riwo Sub county and Amanang sub county took oath of Office, pledging to serve residents and promote development in their areas.

Immediately after, the newly elected speakers for each town council and sub county were also sworn in

District Officials presided over the ceremony and urged the new leaders to work together, prioritize service delivery and uphold accountability.

The swearing in marks the start of a new term for the four administrative units, with both chairpersons and speakers expected  to work closely with Councillors and the community
