Kapchorwa Municipality MP Kitiyo Pushes Tourism Roads, Restocking for Sebei

Newly sworn-in Kapchorwa Municipality MP Patrick Kitiyo says his focus for the 12th Parliament will be opening up Sebei sub-region through tourism roads, pushing for restocking, and resolving land and boundary disputes.

Speaking shortly after taking his oath, Kitiyo said improving tourism roads to Mount Elgon was critical to unlocking Sebei’s potential for the outside world.

He says it requires lobbying, and it’s one of the pertinent things which, if done, will open and unlock the potential of Sebei into the outside world.

He also pledged to spearhead enforcement of the Board resolutions report alongside other political leaders, saying the report was out and needed action.
