Chelangat Everline Tete, who served in the 8th and 10th parliament as the Bukwo district woman MP has bounced back to claim the seat after 10 years out of parliament beating the Incumbent Chemutai Everelyn who ran on an independent ticket. Tete polled 18,516 votes of the 40,252 votes casted for the Bukwo woman parliamentary candidates.
Her closest rival Chemutai Everlyn polled 12,484 votes; Independent’s Sabay Margaret Jepchumba came third with 8694 votes ‘
