Police in Bukwo have arrested Four men for attempting to bribe CID Officers.

The four Suspects were arrested on Sept 06, trying to bail out a robbery suspect who was arrested weeks ago for allegedly terrorising communities

Detective ASP Okoth the District CID officer says the suspects came with Two million Uganda Shillings

He withheld names of the bribery suspects because investigation are still ongoing

One of the suspects arrested include chairman Clan Kamuryony who is said to be the classmate of the robbery suspect

isiah Chemongei the former District Youth Chairperson lauded the OCCID for rejecting the bribe and arresting the suspects

He says the robbery suspects have been terrorising the people in the district

He added that ever since the robbery suspects where arrested there has been calm in the district

The four suspects are currently being held at Bukwo Central Police Station as investigations proceed.
