Martin Chemonges and Fadil Twalla have won the NRM parliamentary primaries in Kapchorwa District after previous results were nullified over vote rigging allegations.
Chemonges secured 17,031 votes for the Kapchorwa Municipality seat, defeating Patrick Kitiyo Solimo with 9,543.
Alex Chelimo came third with fewer than 6,000 votes.
The re-run was conducted on Wednesday under heightened monitoring.
