Electoral Commission is set to conduct Residual elections at Yemitek parish,Kamet subcounty to fill up the position of sub-county woman councillor on Thursday 12th, march, 2026.
This position remained vacant due to the untimely death of one of the contestants before polling.
By law, when such occurs,the electoral commission nominates new contestants to participate in the race. This seat has been contested by Three women including Cherotin Claudia independent, Chebet Dorcus NRM and Chekwemoi Mercy independent.
